Collection Days over Christmas 2018

Residents whose collection day change is before their normal collection day will be sent a flyer highlighting that their collection day is being brought forward. Those whose collection day change falls after their normal collection day will be able to find out this information online and in the Broadland News.

There will be no brown bin collections over this two week period.

Temporary Closure of Mill Road

NORFOLK COUNTY COUNCIL proposes to make a Temporary Traffic Order affecting the U59442 Mill Road from its junction with the C429 Norwich Road for a distance of 200 metres southwards in the PARISH OF STRUMPSHAW because of road improvements.

The road will be temporarily closed (except for access) from 3rd December 2018 to 28th January 2019 for the duration of the works, expected to be 57 days within the period.

Alternative route is via: Norwich Road, Buckenham Road.

(If necessary the restriction could run for a maximum period of 18 months from the date of the Order).

Penalty: £1000 maximum fine on conviction and/or endorsement for contravention.

In the event of the start date being delayed the new start date will be displayed on site in advance.

Sites put forward for possible development

The map shows land put forward (in red) by landowners for consideration for development. The Parish Council has already objected to all the sites in solid red. The sites with diagonal red lines are new sites put forward as part of a later Call for Sites which are for information only at present and the consultation on these later sites has not yet opened. It is understood that these sites will be formally consulted on in Autumn/Winter 2018.

Lloyds Bank mobile unit on Tuesdays

A mobile unit from Lloyds Bank visits the Acle Recreation Centre car park on Tuesdays from 10.00 to 12.15 and 13.00 – 14.45.
